The Pizza Pool: Ella’s Wood Fired Pizza vs. Flippin’ Pizza

We've reached the Final Four of the Pizza Pool! Read on to cast your vote for your fave pizza spot.

Well, folks, after a long, hard, pizza-slinging slog, we've arrived. We've made it. We're at the reader-voted Final Four of the Washingtonian.com Pizza Pool. So let's get voting! In this afternoon's face-off, we have a Gallery Place fan favorite against a chain started by a Queens native. To cast your vote, check below, and for a refresher on how the brackets work, head here. You can also still vote in the Pete's New Haven Style Apizza vs. RedRocks Pizzeria here.

Ella's Wood Fired Pizza: Nearly 20 wood-fired pies are offered on this Penn Quarter spot's menu, including specialty combos such as the Lombardi (caramelized onions, gorgonzola, and rosemary) and the Polpotini (meatballs, leeks, and parmesan).

Flippin' Pizza: Although this chain was born in California, it was started by a Queens native, and the hand-tossed pies recall Broadway: You have to fold the crust to make a slice manageable.

This poll will stay open until 3 PM on Thursday.

*To help keep this contest fair, we’ve elected to use an IP address-based poll. This means that if you are voting from an office or network setting, not everybody will be able to vote. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we hope you’ll encourage coworkers to vote from their home computers.
