The Greater Virginia Bridal Show, hosted by Virginia Bride magazine, is at the Hospitality House Hotel. Speak with caterers, cake designers, florists, planners, and other wedding professionals, and see a fashion show featuring Alfred Angelo’s bridal line. Buy tickets ($7) from Virginia Bride magazine. 1 to 4.

Cakes by Design is hosting a free open house at Polka Dot Divas (416 Mill St., second floor, Occoquan), where you can taste cakes and look at design options. RSVP to cakesbydesign@yahoo.com with your name, date of your wedding, and the number of people who will be joining you at the tasting. 10 to 2.

Head to Shenandoah Valley Golf Club (134 Golf Club Cir., Front Royal) Sunday for the Winchester Bridal Expo. Wedding vendors will be on hand to answer questions, and there’ll be two fashion shows featuring designs for everyone in your bridal party. 11:30 to 4. Free.

If you’re envisioning a seaside ceremony, try the Waterfront Bridal Show at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. You can take a tour of the bayside property, look at “roomscapes” to get decor ideas, watch a bridal fashion show, listen to live music, and meet with other wedding vendors. There’ll also be gourmet food samples and complimentary Champagne. Buy tickets ($15) on Acteva. Tickets are also available at the door for $20. Noon to 4.
