As you’ve probably gathered, shopping for a wedding gown and accessories can get pretty pricey. So we’re super-excited about a brand-new shopping site co-created by Langley High grad Sara Morgan, a former Washingtonian account executive who now lives in San Francisco.

DressRush, which launched just a few weeks ago, features exclusive members-only sales on wedding dresses, jewelry, accessories, and more at up to 70 percent off retail. Think a pearl necklace from Tejani marked down to $180 from $275, or Navy and Lavender groomsmen gifts for $49, marked down from $98. There are also “rush deals,” like a $25 gift certificate to jewelry site Adorn Brides. Simply tweet about the deal or post it on Facebook and it’s yours.

“It’s a combination of Gilt Groupe and Groupon for brides,” explains Morgan.

And soon, you’ll find wedding dresses, shoes, veils, even rehearsal dinner and engagement party dresses on the site.

Not a member? Not to worry! DressRush has provided invitations for Washingtonian readers, just click this link to sign up. Happy shopping!
