4 Merlot-Inspired Outfits for this Weekend’s Wine Fests

Dressy and casual ways to wear your favorite shades of burgundy, blush, and chardonnay.

Alright ladies, no point in denying it. Last September we reported that DC ranks first in wine consumption, so we know we’ll see more than a few of you at the two major wine events going down this weekend: the buzzy, young professional-friendly Wine Riot at DAR ($50, tickets available at website), and the waterfront Wine and Food Festival at National Harbor ($40 and up, tickets available on location). In anticipation for this weekend’s festivities (is it Saturday yet?), we whipped up a few outfits in our favorite shades of vino. So go forth, sip, look stylish, and don’t feel too guilty about it–we hear red wine can prevent fat formation.
