Looks like the barre craze has hit the White House: Dr. Jill Biden was spotted taking a class at a local studio last night.
According to a tweet sent out last night by a class attendee, Biden attended a nighttime barre class at Barre3 in Georgetown. She was also seen jogging along the Georgetown River Waterfront Park with some Secret Service members.
Biden may be a regular at Barre3, as the Washington Post’s Reliable Source reported that she was also seen quietly slipping into the studio for a 6:30 PM class on Tuesday.
The Vice President’s second wife is no stranger to fitness. She’s an avid runner and completed the Marine Corps Marathon in 1998 in 4:30:02. Her son Beau Biden was once quoted saying, “My mom could take him,” in reference to Paul Ryan.
When we reached out to the folks at Barre3 Georgetown, owner Jill Warren explained that Biden is a client of theirs, but in efforts to protect her privacy, they couldn’t provide any further details.
