What could be an epic winter storm is closing in on Washington, and with Metro shut down for the weekend, many restaurants and bars will temporarily close. On the flip side, a number of neighborhood establishments are trying to stay open for the long haul (i.e. until the power goes out). Find a list of those brave eateries below. Regardless, make sure to call your destination to double-check the status before heading out, and remember: safety first.
