The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority will close for 24 hours beginning at midnight on March 16, meaning that Metrorail services will be out of commission for 29 hours until it is scheduled to reopen at 5 AM on March 17. When the news hit Twitter, the Internet, as it is wont to do, freaked out. While some are following Twitter to get the latest updates on Metro’s status and school closings, others are using Twitter to do the following.
