This Octopus Cocktail is the Stuff of Drinking Nightmares

The “bar chefs” at Jardenea Lounge just released a new savory cocktail menu, and while we’re all for unsweetened sips, cotton Photograph courtesy of Jardenea. candy-vodka is looking pretty tasty in the face of this nightmare from the trenches. The “Black Mamba” combines vodka (good), bloody Mary mix (yep), squid ink (okay), and “a whole braised baby octopus” (whyyyynooo), though the tentacle garnish looks like it belongs to Ursula from The Little Mermaid.  It may taste wonderful, but if that drink was on the bar, we’d pull an Inky and escape. On the plus side, there’s a new avocado margarita that sounds significantly less horrific.
