Drove down from Rockville to go to the movies in Alexandria and ended up at Rustico afterwards. This visit was much more worthy of the drive than the movie--and the movie was *good*. The restaurant's menu is not lengthy, but it great. Seems like much thought was put into all the dishes. Alright,...there may have been a few pizzas on the menu that could have been nixed--in my opinion--but overall, it was great! Ended up having the "Red-brick Amish Chicken" and I was thoroughly impressed (it takes a lot to wow me with chicken). Simple, moist meat, tasty sauce, and served with caramelized sprouts. Their wait staff was very knowledgeable when it came to pairing their extensive beer selection with my meal. Nice atmosphere too!
