The food is fresh and perfect! The spices are just right, the portions are a very good size, the tastes are sublime. My favorite dish is Tofu salad. And nothing can beat the flavor. I want to quit my job and go covert as kitchen help just to learn how to make it.
The atmosphere is intimate and small. The staff is polite, friendly and attentive.
I've been coming here for the last year. I have tried all Burmese restaurants in the MD/DC/Va area and none come close (although the one I would visit again is in Silver Spring).
Three of us sat down to dinner, read the menu, and anticipated a great meal. The appetizer was fantastic and we began planning our next visit. I was enjoying my entree when I bit into something that looked unusual. It was chewy and not quite right. I pulled it out and unfolded a large piece(probably about 4 inches unfolded) of white plastic that looked like it had been cut off the top of a plastic bag. It grossed me out. The restaurant's response to the problem was almost worse than the foreign object in my dish. There was no apology and no acknowledgement that there was a problem. I will never go back there again, which is a shame. My dinner companions enjoyed their dishes.
