We were disappointed with every component of this meal. The wine, though very good, was absurdly priced. The bread was served warm, but the accompanying olive oil was crudely flavored. Our first course, a bresaola salad, might have been good had they not soaked it in so much oil that it became actively unpleasant by the third bite. The pasta was so overboiled that each bite tasted like a mash, and the so-called parmesan sauce separated instantly into thin streams of melted butter. The veal was gloppy and oversalted, the spinach had no flavor, and the mashed potatoes could have come out of a box. This food was not simply poor value; it was flat-out poor. I suspect you'd get a better Italian meal at the Thai restaurant across the street.
