Following the advice of two guidebooks, we out-of-towners landed at Kinkead's. First, the quality of the service was underwhelming. Second, and the bigger issue, was the red snapper. Perhaps we should've been suspicious with the speed in which our entree was served after we placed our order. But, we trusted--and should not have done so. The snapper brought new meaning to the term "dry". In fact, it was more the consistency of mush, rather than of an appropriately cooked, fresh fish (of which it was neither). The sauce accompanying the fish, while interesting in its description, was thin and not flavorful. Not surprisingly, we will not return to Kinkead's.
