Reviews say food is disappointing but for the guacamole and the pomegranate margaritas. Still, gave it a try. $12 for guac?! Opted for queso fundido* Tasty but hard to mess up, not impressed. Im Hispanic and SoCal native so I know good Mexican food when I taste it. Chips were room temp and salsa is like BBQ sauce, gross. Server was engaging but would only recommend the guac and the pom margaritas-uh oh. Ordered chicken tortilla roll w/corn and sweet potato fries for our un-finicky 4-year old (tasted OK; rice/beans wouldve been better). Spouse had arrachera con camarones* OK but overpriced at $21.50 w/rice-so-so and black beans-OK, to share. I had budin de pollo* DISGUSTING! Shouldve tried margarita.$80 down the drain.*=see online menu
Went here for a date night with my boyfriend. The Guacamole is a MUST, made fresh at the table and it's delicious. The sangria blanco is also one of the best sangrias I've ever had. The entrees leave a lot to be desired, especially with their price tag. I would say head here for appetizers and drinks, and get the entrees somewhere else.
