Bistro Bis' menu is what you would expect from a French restaurant at this level. Appetizer and entree selections were high-level quality and presentation, with the food reasonably priced. My only major complaint is that Bistro Bis radically overprices its wine. The single least expensive bottle of wine was $38, from there the wine prices jumped to the high $50s - $90s. After that, various wine selections were priced from $100 - $500. It is standard industry practice for restaurants to mark up the retail prices of wine bottles anywhere from 100 - 200%. As a regular red wine drinker who has an idea of retail wine pricing, I found Bistro Bis' wine prices outrageous and completely unaffordable.

This is my second time at Bistro Bis and again, I was not disappointed. Service was outstanding, and food was quite good. Coq du Vin with lardons had great flavor and texture. Appetizer was flavorful and beautifully carmelized French onion soup. Chocolate dessert with Cote du Rhone wine was so enjoyable. Bistro Bis knows how to entice new customers with quality food, a nice dining experience and excellent service during restaurant week. Again, I would return as I quite enjoyed 2 of the 4 restaurants I attended during Restaurant Week and this was one of them.
