Washington Area Readers Pick Their Favorite Blogs

By Benjamin Coffey Clark    Published Thursday, June 21, 2007

The readers have spoken. They visited our site to vote for the region’s best and worst, and the results are on newsstands now in our July issue.

Readers like new DC mayor Adrian Fenty and brunch at Georgia Brown’s. They’d like to muzzle Ann Coulter and avoid the security lines at Dulles. In particular interest to us at Washingtonian.com, are their favorite local blogs - DCist won first place, with Wonkette and DCFoodies coming in second and third respectively.

Congratulations to the winners and don't forgot to pick up the July Issue on newsstands now to see the rest of the reader favorites and check out our annual Museum Guide.

Of course, we should plug our own bloggers at Open House, After Hours and Best Bites who also make an appearance in the July issue to showcase their favorite blogs and advise readers on how best to enjoy summer.
