Slone Mathieu is Face Makeover Wiz

Slone Mathieu, makeup artist and board certified aesthetician can make you glow

Published Friday, December 01, 2006

“The biggest mistake women make is foundation,” says Slone Mathieu, a makeup artist and board-certified aesthetician (at Dermatology Specialists, 2440 M St., NW, Suite 313; 202-775-1792). Mathieu, who has pancaked the faces of Senator John McCain and retired soccer star Mia Hamm, among others, also works with mere mortals.

She’ll create a glowing bridal face ($75 for in-office application, $125 at home), make sure you never suffer another lipstick faux pas (personal shopping, $50 an hour), even host a glamour-makeover party in your home, complete with lessons and product discounts (starts at $125). If makeup isn’t your thing, she’ll design a better skin-care routine for you ($25 in her office, $50 at home). Says Mathieu: “My goal is to help clients heal, fix, and enjoy their skin.”
