The Washingtonian publishes Great Places to Work every other year; the next article will be published in November 2013.
The Great Places to Work contest is open to any company or nonprofit as long as it has an office in the greater Washington area. In order for a workplace to be considered, one representative of the company is asked to fill out a Great Places to Work application that asks detailed questions about the organization’s benefits, personnel, and policies. (Later, a separate and shorter survey is filled out by employees.) There is no application fee.
The next Great Places to Work application will be available on this Web site in February 2013. You can check back for the application, or you can send the name, e-mail, and phone number of the person who would fill out the application on your company's behalf to Sherri Dalphonse. That person will be put on a list to automatically receive the next Great Places to Work application when it's available.
Below is an example of the questions asked in the 2011 Great Places to Work application. Please do not fill out this application; the questions on the 2013 application may change slightly.
