In DC: Former DC mayor Anthony Williams and his wife, Diane, bought a condo in the Landmark Lofts building near H Street, Northeast, for $1.2 million. Developer Jim Abdo spent 18 months restoring the 140-year old building, formerly the Capital Children’s Museum.

PR executive Peter Mirijanian bought a four-bedroom, four-bath Victorian rowhouse in Georgetown for $1.4 million. The three-level house was built in 1900. Mirijanian owns Peter Mirijanian Public Relations and is senior vice president at the Wade Group, also a public-relations firm.

Architect James Tilghman and wife Anne bought a four-bedroom, four-bath Colonial on 29th Street in Chevy Chase DC for $835,000. Built in 1931, the house has a two-car garage. Tilghman is a design principal at DMJM Design, an architecture firm with offices in Arlington.

In Virginia: Lobbyist John Breaux Jr. bought a five-bedroom, five-bath Colonial in Arlington’s Broyhill Forest neighborhood for $1.9 million. The house has a library and wet bar. Breaux, son of former senator John Breaux of Louisiana, is a partner at Breaux Lott, a lobbying firm begun by his father and former Mississippi senator Trent Lott. Lott’s son, Chet, also works at the firm.

Real-estate executive Richard A. Neville sold a four-bedroom, five-bath Colonial on Lynwood Hill Road in McLean for $1.4 million. The house has a solarium with a beamed ceiling and skylights. Neville is senior vice president at Combined Properties, a Washington real-estate firm.

Brothers Eric and Scott Billings bought an $895,000 condo in the Waterview Residences, a new luxury condo building in Rosslyn. The Waterview, which sits above the Hotel Palomar Arlington, has a 24-hour concierge, a fitness center, and the highest rooftop deck in the area. The brothers’ father, Eric Billings, is CEO of the investment bank Friedman Billings Ramsey.

In Maryland: Lawyer Mitchell H. Rapaport sold a brick Colonial on Brookeway Drive in Bethesda’s Sumner neighborhood for $1.2 million. On a corner lot, the house has four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Rapaport, a partner at Nixon Peabody, specializes in federal tax law.

Biotech executive Wayne Hockmeyer and wife Mary sold a six-bedroom, six-bath brick Colonial in Bethesda for $2.4 million. The house has five fireplaces, two libraries, a wine cellar, and a three-car garage. Hockmeyer founded the Gaithersburg biotech company MedImmune in 1988; since 2000, he has been director of GenVec, a biopharmaceutical company in Gaithersburg.

Consultant Charlie Kauffunger and his wife, Nancy, bought a five-bedroom, five-bath Colonial on Masters Court in Potomac for $1.3 million. Kauffunger is founding partner of the Educe Group, a consulting firm that specializes in organizational development.
