Clients at the Erwin Gomez Salon like Defamer and eBay.
Erwin Gomez, the brow shaper known for keeping the Bush twins’ arches groomed, has opened the Erwin Gomez Salon & Spa (1519 Wisconsin Ave.) in Georgetown. One spa perk we’ve never seen before: Apple iBooks, available for use during a manicure or pedicure. Gomez says he provides them “for all my lawyer clients.” A peek into one laptop’s Web-browsing history reveals the following: online shopping trips to eBay for Chanel and Gucci, visits to gossip sites like Defamer and Page Six, and one mother’s e-mail plea to the director of admissions at Beauvoir School on behalf of her two-year-old (kids have to be at least four to get in).A question for Gomez’s lawyer clients: Are you putting in for billable hours while getting that pedicure?
