Two Deals in One

At the Bethesda boutique Daisy Too and its back-room shoe haven, Zelaya, shoppers can find clothing by designers such as Diane Von Furstenberg and Citizens of Humanity and shoes by the likes of Kate Spade and Dolce Vita. This month, Washingtonian readers can get an exclusive 20 percent off all shoes at Zelaya as well as an umbrella and packet of daisy seeds with any purchase at Daisy Too.

Chic Steals

Georgetown’s cult-favorite clothing shop, Urban Chic, now has four locations including Bethesda, National Harbor, and Baltimore. In April, mention The Washingtonian to get 15 percent off designs by such names as Milly, Black Halo, and Alice and Olivia—even Shoshanna apparel—at the Georgetown shop’s trunk show April 23. The 15-percent discount can’t be combined with any other promotion.

Coming up Blossoms

April showers are bringing a trunk show of designer Suzanne Somersall’s cherry-blossom-inspired jewels to the store Ginger. The show runs April 2 through 5, with a designer meet-and-greet April 2 from 6 to 8 pm. Besides browsing Somersall’s line, shoppers can check out new clothing from Calypso, Trovata, and more. Washingtonian readers get 15 percent off all items in the store, including Somersall jewelry.

No-Sweat Savings

Looking to get bikini-ready? Washingtonian readers can get 20 percent off any one item at StretchAlicious, a new shop in Potomac that carries lots of great workout clothing plus contemporary daywear by such names as Ed Hardy. We swear by their signature Margarita pant, which makes any leg look slimmer and any butt look firmer.

Funky and Frugal

Lettie Gooch, a U Street favorite, carries fun and funky clothes by names such as Beth Bowley and Molly New York. The shop, named after owner Theresa Watts’s grandmother, is offering 20 percent off any one item for Washingtonian readers during April.

Preppy bargains

Get ready for the Gold Cup or a summer sail on the Potomac River with a preppy piece from Tucker Blair, a line by Georgetown designer Taylor Llewellyn. His flip-flops, belts, key fobs, headbands, and other accessories come needlepointed in patterns ranging from polka dots and stripes to lobsters and crabs. Washingtonian readers can take 20 percent off this month with the code “Washingtonian” at checkout.

Sole-ful Sale

SimplySoles owner Kassie Rempel, who made the cover of Fortune Small Business magazine in 2007, launched a brick-and-mortar location of her e-commerce site in October. This month, Washingtonian readers can get 15 percent off all Lillybee shoes, Rempel’s signature line, featuring designs such as the Michelle. If you’d prefer to shop online, enter the code “Buzz” at checkout.

Over-the-Moon Savings

Whether you’re after a wedding gift for a style-savvy friend, a new pair of jeans, or the perfect swimsuit, 12-store chain South Moon Under has it covered. Besides such labels as Juicy Couture, La Rok, and Prairie New York, it carries shoes, jewelry, and men’s merchandise. This month, readers can take 15 percent off any online purchase, with code “WashApril” at checkout. Not to be combined with any other offer.

Say “I Do” to This Sale

Getting married this summer? From April 1 through May 5 at Bethesda’s Promise bridal boutique, Washingtonian readers can get 250 “Promise dollars” to spend on names including Claire Pettibone, Elizabeth Fillmore, and Lea Ann Belter with a minimum purchase of $500. Bring in this issue of the magazine to receive the discount, which can’t be combined with any other offer.
