The Sofitel Washington DC is offering a "Sparkling Sofitel Rendezvous" deal, which comes with complimentary accommodations among other amenities. All you have to do is purchase a special bottle of Cuvée Louise 1998 Champagne. It's not cheap at $299 a pop, but once you purchase a bottle, the hotel will give you a free room for one night. First Lady Inspires Washington Marriott

Inspired by First Lady Michelle Obama’s White House kitchen garden, the Washington Marriott is encouraging families to go green this summer while on vacation. The “Growing Up Green” package includes complimentary breakfast, lunch, and dinner from the kids-only menu for children 12 and under, a reusable mini tote, kid’s gardening gloves, four packets of certified organic vegetable seeds, and a kid’s “Passport to DC” adventure guide.
