Clyde’s of Tysons Corner, 8332 Leesburg Pike, Vienna; 703-734-1901. The art deco Overlook room seats 150; the Café room, with wood floors and chandeliers, accommodates up to 50. Average cost per person, food only: $32 to $48.
Maggiano’s Little Italy, Chevy Chase, 202-966-3108; McLean, 703-893-5810; maggianos.com. Our top vote-getter, these family-style Italian eateries offer private rooms for up to 250. Cost: $36.95 a person, including coffee and tea.

Morton’s, six area locations. Most locations of this upscale steakhouse have private rooms with mahogany wood and leather booths; some rooms accommodate up to 120. Price of a three-course dinner: $50 to $69 a person.

Zola, 800 F St., NW; 202-654-0999. The two-level Ultra-Venona Room at this sleek Modern American restaurant in the International Spy Museum can accommodate up to 250. Food and beverage minimums range from $1,000 to $15,000, depending on the room and time of year.
