Married: Sept. 3, 2011, in Chestertown, Maryland

Occupations: Jamie’s a physical therapist; Nate’s a sports investment banking associate

Hometowns: Both are from Chestertown

How they met: At a party in high school

How they got engaged: A weekend getaway to Chincoteague Island

Wedding flowers: Ivory hydrangeas, lisianthus, freesia, roses, green hypericum berries, and green wheat sprigs wrapped in twine

Decor: Casual elegance with natural, rustic elements—a birch-bark vase, silver lanterns, and candlelit jelly jars

Biggest surprise: Nate brought out a fire pit and s’mores fixings to surprise Jamie with her favorite treat

Favorite detail: The large clear-top tent lined with twinkle lights mimicking stars

Most memorable moment: Nate’s younger brother played “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” on a harp as Jamie walked down the aisle

The ring bearer: Oakley, the couple’s Siberian Husky 

Bridesmaid dresses: Kelly-green dresses that Jamie deemed “Audrey Hepburn meets Pippa Middleton”

Wedding cocktail: Sweet-tea vodka and lemonade

DIY element: Jamie made the seating cards by hand, and they were displayed on a pair of old shutters from their home

Honeymoon spot: Cap Juluca in Anguilla
