Mary Clare Fleury

Mary Clare Fleury came to The Washingtonian in August 2004 after working as a research associate at the Corporate Executive Board. She covers real estate and home design for the magazine and Web site, and also writes about fashion, weddings, fitness, and more. Her stories have included "Inside 10 Great Homes" (April 2009), "I Went through What You Went Through" (December 2008), "Lessons from the Field" (November 2008), "Redskins Legends" (October 2008), "Where The Price is Right" (May 2008), "Ballpark Living" (March 2008), "Great Small Towns" (February 2008), "Weddings of the Rich and Famous" (January 2008), and "He's Got Style" (November 2007).

Fleury grew up in Bethesda and graduated from Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School—also the alma mater of her grandmother, mother, sister, and several aunts. At Wake Forest University, she majored in French and communication. She and her husband, Andrew, live in Glover Park.
