Editorial Intern Spring 2009
Editorial intern Elizabeth McNamara grew up in Montgomery County where she attended the Connelly School of the Holy Child. After graduating from Denison University in 2005, she moved to Boston for two years where she wrote for both the Somerville News and Bespoke Memories, Inc., a memorabilia book company. Elizabeth recently graduated from NYU's Arthur L. Carter's Institute of Journalism, where she received her M.A. in Magazine Journalism and interned with Saveur Magazine. She was thrilled to join the Washingtonian and return to the D.C. area, where she can be close to her parents, four brothers, one sister, and Border Collie. She has been published in the Washington Post and Saveur.
