Ann Limpert came to The Washingtonian in 2003. She edits and writes the Best Bites Blog and covers food, arts, and culture for the magazine.

Ann graduated from DC's Georgetown Visitation School and from Connecticut College, where she majored in art history. She spent two years covering the Internet, music, movies, and books at Entertainment Weekly magazine in New York City. She has a degree in culinary arts from the Institute of Culinary Education and has worked as a cook at Ouest restaurant and as a pastry cook at Olives restaurant in New York.
