Melissa Herald

Melissa is a graduate of Miami University where she earned her B.A. in journalism. While attending Miami her sophomore year, she created and launched a monthly student-run magazine. Mq magazine covers a variety of topics pertinent to the college-aged audience, from political concerns to the latest fashions. Just this past March, Mq celebrated its one year anniversary.

 In the spring of 2006, she interned at Cincinnati Magazine in Cincinnati, OH. During her time as an intern, she served as a fact checker and contributed to several short pieces that appeared in print.

Melissa is new to the DC area and, like Mary Tyler Moore, she's going to make it after all.
