Where will The Next Food Network Star’s Teddy Folkman, Inn at Little Washington’s Patrick O’Connell, and star bartender Gina Chersevani be on Monday night? They’re just a few of the big names who will be dishing out goodies at Chef’s Best, the annual dinner and auction benefitting Food and Friends, a charity that delivers meals to people with life-threatening illnesses. A total of 60 area chefs, pastry chefs, and bartenders will be on hand for the walk-around tasting dinner, held at the Hilton Washington Hotel (1919 Connecticut Ave., NW). There will be live and silent auctions with culinary scores like an in-home dinner for six prepared by Folkman, a master class and chef’s table meal with O’Connell, a farmer’s market tour and lunch with Spezie’s Cesare Lanfranconi, and a wine trip to San Francisco and Sonoma.
Tickets, $225 each, are available here. A VIP tasting begins at 5:30, and the main dinner begins at 6:30. More>> Best Bites Blog | Food & Dining | Restaurant Finder
