If you felt the humidity this weekend, you know that summer in Washington has truly started. What's this week's weather looking like? Nice in the beginning, and steamy later on, reports the Capital Weather Gang.
A violent weekend in the District left eight dead.
After two cranes in New York City have collapsed, DC will inspect all 40 cranes operating in the city.
The National Cathedral's Greenhouse is set to close on June 29, but this organization has formed to save it.

Gone are the robust bureaus for the Los Angeles Times, Newhouse News, and other once-healthy news organizations. Digital media bureaus now are taking their places with as many reporters and plenty of swagger.
