Photo by Flickr user NCinDC Today marks the seventh anniversary of the September 11th attacks. The Pentagon memorial to the 9/11 victims is being dedicated today. You can check out an audio tour of the memorial over here.
Got anything planned this weekend? No? Then you'll want to check out our weekend picks, chock full of stuff like fall festivals, free art, the start of the DC Shorts Film Festival, a Black Cat anniversary party, and loads more. There'll be even more shopping in Georgetown—a Bloomingdale's is headed that way. Mayor Fenty has outlined a plan that will take $1.5 billion to modernize area schools. There's Facebook for babies.
