Love on the Cheap: Heart-Shaped Pies From Armand’s Pizza
By
Elizabeth Farrell
Don’t want to spend a lot of dough this Valentine’s Day but still want to put in some effort? Here’s a solution: a heart-shaped, deep-dish pizza from Armand’s. The pies cost $11.99 (toppings are extra) at the restaurant in DC’s Tenleytown; prices vary at other locations. As gifts go, it might be cheesy, but that’s not always a bad thing.

Is the dough handmade or frozen heart-shaped shells? Why do prices vary depending on where you are? I LOVE THE CHEESY PUN. More puns in the Washingtonian, PLEASE! It makes for a fun read.
