There are a lot of good potato chips in the marketplace—we’re fondest of Route 11, Mama Zuma’s, and North Fork. But none of those gourmet bagged chips can match the ones at Jungle Grille in College Park (8145-F Baltimore Ave.; 301-441-3321). They’re hand-cut, fried to order, and irresistible. The restaurant treats them like fries, supplying a cup of ketchup for dunking. Great on their own, they’re a perfect partner for the terrific turkey burgers and egg-salad sandwiches.

This appeared in the October, 2008 issue of The Washingtonian.

I’ve heard of North Fork Chips, but never heard of Mama Zuma’s. Where can you get them locally?
