With Saint Patrick’s Day a week away and spring just around the corner, green is on everyone’s mind. Swapping your throw pillows for lighter, brighter ones is an easy way to transition your decor between seasons.
Splurge
Although it’s based in Richmond, home-design store Openhouse sells most of its collection online, including the adorable Poppy Pods pillow for $80. The grass-green pillow features embroidered poppies that are not quite ready to bloom, making it perfect for this time of year.

Steal
If you’re saving money for the Saint Patty’s Day tab, Target’s Printed Floral pillow costs only $24.99. The woven polyester pillow is slightly darker than the Openhouse one, but the wispy-white flower design keeps it fresh.
Target has stores in DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
