After CB2 came along, I totally forgot about Crate and Barrel. But yesterday I checked my mail, and whad’ya know, it’s having a sale! The tulip pendant light has a slightly industrial look and would look great in a room with a more comfy vibe. It’s down from $99.95 to $59.95.
I also love the Miramar Sofa, which is discounted from $1,899 to $1,299. This couch is striking without being overpowering, modern but still warm.
My final pick from Crate & Barrel is the Pullman Leather Armchair, which is down from $359 to $329. It would be a cool accent for almost any room, but I do think the price is still too high. I suggest keeping an eye on it for a while—my hunch is that the price will drop again.
By contrast, the Company Store’s Contempo Table is so cheap that everybody should try to find a place for it in their home. It is down to $26.99. I like the white one best.
Meanwhile, Room and Board is having a big seating sale that is worth checking out. In particular, take a gander at the Tulane couch, which is now $799, and the Walker chair, now $399.
