Design Deals

By Molly Lehman

These Thanksgiving looks prove that there’s room for both tradition and class around the table—and with the sale price, you can save a little cash for black Friday, too.

This rich-toned tablecloth from Crate & Barrel would look great with creamy white or ivory dinnerware—plus, matching jacquard-woven napkins are available, too. The tablecloth’s on sale for $46.95, down from $54.95, and the napkins are $3.95 each. The sale lasts until November 26.

For a table setting that’s down-home without being tacky, check out the Johnson Brothers “Friendly Village” collection. We love the black lace detail edging the plates and bowls, and the entire collection is on sale at Macy’s right now. The 28-piece set, which includes four salad plates, dinner plates, square salad plates, soup bowls, fruit bowls, cereal bowls, and mugs, is on on sale for $99.99, less than a quarter of its original price. Additional pieces like a gravy boat and stand ($55.20) and pie dish ($19.99) are also on sale.

For holiday cocktail parties or a pre-turkey glass of wine, these beaded beverage charms from Pfaltzgraff are perfect. A set includes six holiday shapes, and they’re on sale for $4.99, marked down from $7.99.
