What: Metropole Where: 15th and P streets, NW, near Logan Circle Closest Metro station: McPherson Square, on the Blue and Orange lines, is four blocks away; the Red line’s Dupont Circle is five blocks. Number of Units: 90, with 30 floor-plan options. Sizing: One and two bedroom units range from 630 to 2,400 square feet. The most popular seller is the two-bedroom, 1,200-square-foot unit. Pricing: Prices begin in the mid-$400,000s and top off at about $1.6 million. The average price is $800,000. Green Factor: Environment-friendly features include: • Recycling of “waste” energy from the gym to heat residences • Large windows to bring in natural light • Energy Star appliances such as Bosch water-conserving washing machines Luxurious Touches: Full concierge service—one phone call nets dinner reservations, arrangements for a dog walker, or someone to water the plants. There also will be a 23,000-square-foot health club. Building Amenities: Most units have private terraces or balconies and Bosch and Sub-Zero stainless-steel appliances. Underground parking is available for all residents. The retail level of the building will house a day spa, salon, and restaurants. That’s Unique: Need a guest room? Metropole owners can reserve two guest suites for a yet-to be-determined fee. Expected Completion: January 2008 On sale: Approximately 57 percent of the building is sold.

The 75% figure came directly from the sales office when we originally contacted them. After seeing your comment, we called back to double-checkāthe correct number is 57%. We’ve updated the original blog posting to reflect the correct number.

57% of the building is sold, not 75%. Sales have been slower than expected.
