Fundraiser Headliners Familiar Faces To Thompson

The names on Fred Thompson's invitation last night include many former staff.

Last night (July 30) at the JW Marriott Hotel, just blocks from the White House, Fred Thompson's fledgling presidential campaign hosted a $1,000 per person reception as he tries to build the war chest necessary to run. The long list of names on the invitation include many former Thompson aides and players in Tennessee politics, but more than that it also includes many notable Washington figures.

Here's the list:

Robert Batson: Senior official at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and former Thompson staffer.
 
Susan Hurley Bennett

Jeff Bloemker: Lobbyist and former Thompson aide.

David Bossie: President of conservative non-profit Citizens United and former chief investigator for the House Committee on Government Reform and Oversight.

Steve Brophy: KPMG consultant and was a former aide for Thompson

Kirk Clinkenbeard: Consultant.

Tom Collamore: Altria executive, has previously donated to Mitt Romney and Rudy Guiliani.

Anthoney Curcio: New York investment banker.

John M. Dowd: Partner at Akin-Gump, has been representing former Justice Department official Monica Goodling.

Harrison Frist: Son of former Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist and recent Princeton graduate.

Debi Gasper: Public relations executive.

Johanna L. Hardy: Legislative affairs director for Rolls-Royce North America.

Stephanie Henning: Fellow at German Marshall Fund, former House Ways & Means commitee staffer.
 
Rachel Jones Hensler: Consultant at Nickles Group LLC and a former Thompson's office

Richard Hohlt: Top lobbyist and Republican fundraiser.

Katie Huffard: Lobbyist and former aide to Senator Bill Frist.

Jim Lake: Former Reagan press aide.

Chris Lamond: Senior VP at Ogilvy Government Relations and former Thompson staffer.

Tim Locke: Lobbyist at the Smith-Free Group.

Mary Matalin: Republican heavyweight, top Thompson aide, and one-half of famous James Carville-Mary Matalin marriage.

Amy McKennis Mistri: Consultant and former Thompson aide.

Paul R. Noe: Lawyer and former staffer on the Senate Governmental Affairs Committee.

Patrick E. O'Donnell: Lawyer/lobbyist at Squire Sanders and Dempsey and former official in the Nixon and Ford administrations.

Ken Rietz: CEO of Burson-Marsteller lobbying firm and former top RNC official.

E. Phillip Russell: Lawyer at Dykema Law Firm and former Thompson aide.

David Schwarz: Senior advisor at McKenna Long and Aldridge law firm, big Tennessee political player.

Curtis M. Silvers: Former Thompson aide.

Hannah Sistare: Former Thompson aide.

David Smick: Policy strategist.

Wyatt Stewart

Bill Timmons: Lobbyist and former Hill aide.

Michael Toner: Attorney at Bryan Cave, former FEC chair, and former counsel to the Bush-Cheney campaign.
