John McCain may well be right about sunscreen but there is a debate going on among experts about the relation between sun, melanoma, and the usefulness of sunscreen. Still the cautious approach--not being in direct sunlight too long--seems right. Vitamin D is added to milk and other things but limited exposure to sunlight can play its part in our getting it.

John, this is supposed to be entertaining, right? Are you going to Washingtonian for your daily "news" fix?
Anne, nice job. Calling a fellow woman a "broad" is classy.
You guys are right, everything IS going to hell, and the powers-that-be are tweeting. Sounds feckless to me. That seems worth writing about, no?
You guys should meet. You can have tiny, ugly, angry, self-hating babies.

Anne and John,
You both need to find something better to do. Instead of commenting about "real jobs" and attacking a woman for doing what it takes to put food on her table, you are sitting cross-legged at your computers at the crack of dawn, wearing nothing but your underwear, typing comments on a Washingtonian article that a grand total of 17 people will ever read.
Grow up.
Besides, if you actually wanted to put Washingtonian out of business, you wouldn’t spend SO MUCH TIME on the site, because that earns them ad revenue.

Is this your comment? John, get a life. thanks

Sweet news Washingtonian, when will you be out of business?
Posted by: Who cares, May 15, 2009 06:53:39 AM
Everything is going to hell and this broad is worried about Twitter.
You will be out of a job soon.

Is this news? Sophie, get a real job. thanks

Gone are the robust bureaus for the Los Angeles Times, Newhouse News, and other once-healthy news organizations. Digital media bureaus now are taking their places with as many reporters and plenty of swagger.
