Overlooked: The Best Missed Connections of the Week

Every Friday, for some fun reading, we bring you the area’s best Missed Connections on Craigslist.

By Jessica Sidman

Maybe love at first sight does exist. These folks never exchanged a word, only glances. But sometimes a look says it all. Or maybe you have something in your teeth.

It was the performance of all the comedy students. You were sitting with two guys wearing ties, and I was probably the only other guy there in a tie. I think I caught you looking at me a few times, and of course I was looking back.

Think we might be able to get together and look at each other some more?

Me: brown hair, blue eyes, dark suit, blue shirt, striped tie, sitting in the second row with two friends.
You: blonde hair, beige or cream sweater, sitting near the stage.

Cue the romantic comedy.

You were walking from Starbuck towards 1*4 Street. I just came out of starbucks and was going into the apt building. We exchange a couple of glances, one was over the shoulder. You are very handsome! Lets meet for a coffee or drink and see where it goes. What was I pulling?

Umm... a baby carriage?

On Friday May 8 at lunchtime. You: attractive blonde seated with others in outdoor restaurant area near the door. I was coming in with three others -- a business group or I might have said hello. Our eyes met for more than a glance. If you remember and see this please write -- would love to have lunch with you.

The best part of this one is that it happened at PF Changs.

I am infatuated with the woman who never speaks or even notices me *lol*

IF you have any idea who this is.. then I look forward to hearing from you but in case you were wondering

- Yes I am very straight
- I don’t speak to you while you are working out because like you I come to the gym to workout... not make friends (and you are so focused)
- I do my best to now stare....but I have to admit I look for you at times from a distance during my rest periods.

So you can hit me back here if you are interested or next time we see each other .. just say hi.. so I know you got this and are opposed to my advance.

LOL?

You, Asian girl, sat down in the seat in front of me. I, Asian guy, was busy with my crossword puzzle, but saw your reflection in the glass. If someone as cute as you did give me a glance, then it made my morning. Thanks for that. Who knows, maybe you’ll see this and I can return the favor by buying you a drink?

This one trumps the rest - eye contact through a reflection!
