What are you wearing? “Anthropologie dress, Christian Lacroix yellow wedges and jewelry from Mexico and Swarovski. The bag is vintage.”
What’s your favorite thing in your closet? “A Manoush dress with ice-cream cones all over it.”
How would you describe your style? “Trendy but wearable. I’m a little bit more conservative than ‘trendy.’ ”
What do you think about style in DC? “I think you can wear whatever you want here. You always hear that Washington is really conservative, but I think you can get away with much more than people would think.”
Rachel says: This floaty maxi-length style is a great summer dress. It’s easy and elegant and works for evening, so it’s perfect for those see-where-the-day-takes-us kinds of weekends. Plus, the shoulders are a very attractive part to show off on most women.

Umm actually I LOVE her wedge shoes!! So cute, as a fashion "expert" from Manhattan I would think "Christina" would know that wedges are very in style this summer. 747 to Africa? umm really?? more like 747 to fifth avenue sweetheart. Keep your petty and extremely superficial comments to yourself Xtina ( I am assuming it was your doppleganger who wrote that ridiculous commentary)

Where are her sunglasses from? They’re amazing!!

You forgot to mention the Prada sunglasses!! Very sexy style, she knows what she’s doing. There are probably about ten women in the world who look this good just walking around during the day! Does she have a boyfriend?? ;)))))

I agree that she certainly looks effortlessly adorable and easy-breezy for the day-- women don’t need to overdo their style or pretend they’re on a catwalk to be stylish. I love the shoes and color combination-- this is a very nice mix-- un-boring, yet cohesive.

It is really quite astonishing to see a well dressed woman perusing the boutiques and streets of Washington D.C. these days. As a fashion expert from the style capital of the world, Manhattan, I can certainly attest to this unfortunately disenchanting fact. "Deniz" flaunts a nice ensemble, accented with cute accessories, indeed. But the shoes? I am sure the only runway they will be making is the one with the 747 leaving for the donation centers across central Africa. The hair is cute, and the dress nicely fitting. Let’s hope that this is a learning experience for us all...
