Where & When: Fashion Edition

Free hair treatments, big summer sales and a few new shopping spots have us feeling rather punchy this week.

Wednesday, June 4: The terry track suits are coming! The terry track suits are coming! Yes, it's true: Juicy Couture (who, to be fair, has expanded their selection to also include cute work bags, jewelry and clothing) is opening their much-anticipated Georgetown outpost today.

Thursday, June 5: Celebrate good hair—come on! To mark their recent nod in Allure magazine for being D.C.'s top salon, downtown's one80 salon is offering free Phyto deep conditioning all day until 5 PM. No purchase necessary, but you will need an appointment. See here for contact details.

Thursday, June 5 to Saturday, June 7: Ready to think fall? Mazza Gallerie's Harriet Kassman boutique is hosting a three-day trunk show for New York-based Lafayette 148 line. The label's classic, clean silhouettes have been featured in mags from InStyle to Town & Country; now, get the first glimpse of their fall looks (lots of jewel tones and rich tweeds…).

Tuesday, June 10: It's that time of the month again. DC's fashionistas get together for cocktails and fashion chatter at The Park on Fourteenth. The fashiony fun starts at 7 PM. Get on the list here.

Wednesday, June 11 to Friday, June 13: Here's an early head's up, because you definitely won't want to miss this. For two days, the savvy organizers behind the locally beloved District Sample Sale are organizing the new District Shopping Days mega-sale, which offers at least 15 percent off at stores around town, from Caramel to Denim Bar to Wink. Simply purchase a $15 "key card" (now on sale at select locations around town) to get in on the discounts. See here for updated store info and key card purchase points.

Through August 23: Design lovers will be drooling (at least, we were) over the comprehensive retrospective of Eero Saarinen at the National Building Museum. This well-curated exhibit showcases the much-copied style of the famed architect, who's best known for his sweeping, futuristic designs in post-WWII America.

Movers & Shoppers

Sale! Saaaale! One of our favorites for upscale, splurge-worthy finds, Sangaree is now offering 30 percent of select spring styles from designers like Louis Verdad and Derercuny.

If pink and girly are your thing, don't miss the new Nanette Lepore boutique in Chevy Chase. And if they're *really* your thing, maybe you should consider applying for a job there?
