Thursday, July 23: Carine’s Bridal Atelier Mid-Summer Sample Sale Carine’s Bridal Atelier (1726 Wisconsin Ave., NW; 202-965-4696) will throw in a free veil with any purchase of its discounted fare from Angel Sanchez, Junko Yoshioka, Melissa Sweet, Platnium Collection, Reem Acra, Rosa Clara, and others. Sunday, July 26: New Age Caterers Private Bridal Tasting If you lack both a wedding caterer and meal plans for Sunday, make an appointment for a sampling of New Age Caterers’ (1900 Campus Commons Dr., Reston; 706-476-1200) menu options. The catering company will host private tastings throughout the day. $20; e-mail tastings@newagecaterers.com to schedule a tasting.
Later in the week: Tuesday, July 28: Tips on Tuesdays by Wish Special Events Wedding planner extraordinaire Laura Auer (her business card says “perfectionist”) will coach brides-to-be on wedding-day timelines as part of a monthly event hosted at the Dandelion Patch (111 Church St., Vienna; 703-319-9099).
