Wedding planner Jodi Moraru had a great time answering your questions today. If you missed the conversation, click here to read all about how to budget enough time for hair and makeup, where to hold an outdoor barbecue wedding, what to do if you want a family-and-bridal-party-only rehearsal dinner, and more.
Jodi tried to get through the whole queue, but there are just a few she couldn’t squeeze into the hour. But don't worry. I’ll be taking those surplus questions to another planner or two and publishing the answers—stat.
For the February chat lineup, think romance. I took four of the most romantic (material) things about weddings—the ring, the dress, the cake, and the flowers—and found one expert for each. Next Thursday, February 7, it’ll be Leslie Poyourow of Fancy Cakes by Leslie in Gaithersburg. I’ll introduce you to Leslie on Monday with a little more pizzazz, but for now? Start submitting all your burning (not literally) cake Q’s. Speaking of cake . . . If you didn't have one at your wedding (maybe you had cupcakes, maybe you did a sundae bar, maybe you just skipped the sweet stuff altogether), Bridal Party wants to hear from you.
