As a pierced-ear virgin (okay, that’s not quite true—I went to Piercing Pagoda in the mall when I was 16 but promptly let the holes close up), I learned something exciting in today’s live chat with jewelry guru Irene Barbieri: Apparently, most jewelry-repair stores can turn any earring into a clip. I’m noting that for my (eventual) wedding . . . but if yours is approaching, you should check out Irene’s other advice on everything from the best necklace style for strapless dresses to colored gemstones in engagement rings. Diamonds aren’t always a girl’s best friend, it seems.
Next Thursday, Bridal Party's chat series will close out February with another romantic chat topic: flowers. Click here to start submitting questions. Looking for more wedding advice?
