April Holiday Events: Beyond Egg Hunts and Seders

If you are looking for local egg hunt to participate in, look no further—we've got a list. 

April 4
18th Annual Cap-City Bunny Hop
Eight bars, including Recessions, the Front Page, and Rumors, will be part of this daylong bar hop, which starts at 3. Drink specials include $2 Coors Light and $3 Blue Moon bottles; food specials will also be available throughout the day. Registration at Mackey’s Pub is $13 or $10 if you bring two cans of food, which will be donated to a food bank.

April 5
Afikomen Scavenger Hunt
An adult version of the Passover custom of finding the afikomen, this scavenger hunt starts at the Sixth & I Historic Synagogue and takes participants all across Chinatown. Teams of four to six people are allowed, and each team must bring along a digital camera and USB cord. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Cost includes snacks and drinks following the hunt. For tickets and more information, click here.

April 10
The Big Easter Egg Hunt
Professionals in the City hosts a grown-up version of an egg hunt in DC’s Dupont Circle. The hunt starts at Cafe Citron at 7 and continues at nearby bars until 11. Tickets ($15) can be purchased here.

6th in the City Shabbat
A post-Passover party with drinks and appetizers at 6:30. The Shabbat service at 7:15 will be followed by dinner. Tickets ($6) can be purchased here.

Easter Classic 5- and 10-K Runs
Four hundred participants will take part in these runs, organized by the Potomac Valley Track Club. Easter baskets will be handed out to the first three runners who make it across the finish line. For more information or to register, click here.
