International films, a Scotch tasting, and a wing-eating contest are all in this week's nightlife guide.

Monday: Across the World in Film FilmFest DC continues across town this week, showcasing dozens of international films from countries from Mexico to Russia. This year's festivals (the 23rd) has a political slant and focuses especially on movies coming out of Japan and Eastern Europe. Get the full schedule and location information at the festival's web site.
Tuesday: Scotch Tasting at Wisdom Head over to one of our new favorite drinking spots on the Hill, cocktail lounge Wisdom, for a Scotch tasting this evening. $25 will get you in for a tasting of four different scotches from Balvenie along with a discussion by a Scotch expert. 7:30 PM; get your tickets here.
Wednesday: Garden Party for Earth Day Celebrate Earth Day (and the warmer weather) by heading to the reopening of Poste's outdoor garden. They're hosting a party honoring FRESHFARM Markets, and $5 at the door will get you cheese tastings from Cowgirl, wine samples from local vineyards, and more. 5 PM.
Thursday: Wing Eating Contest We guess you can make a contest out of pretty much anything, and tonight's event at the Rock & Roll Hotel proves it. They'll be hosting a wings-eating contest starting at 9 PM, with H Street chefs doling out their best wings, and folks competing to see who can eat the most (and the hottest) wings. $10 gets you in, and sign-up starts right at 9.
