The DC Improv is combining comedy and good deeds for its 5th Annual Children’s Hospital Halloween Benefit and Collection Drive. The DC Improv Comedy School Cast will headline the event, during which the club will collect costumes, toys and Halloween-themed decorations to distribute to Children’s Hospital. Bring your Halloween merch and enjoy the improv team. All donations must be brand-new for disease and infection control. Doors open at 7, and the show starts at 8:30. Tickets are $15. The fourth installment of the series written by Jaston Williams and Joe Sears, Tuna Does Vegas premieres in DC at the Warner Theatre. Despite being a two-man show, the comedy revolves around 20 characters living in Tuna, Texas. In this one, the small-towners hit Sin City.Tickets are $26 to $56. For show times, click here.

Friday October 30, and Saturday, October 31
Look up Tim Homayoon’s résumé on his Web site and take a glance at his list of skills, which include juggling and being a computer whiz and a nursing-home stripper. Well, now he can add “headliner at the Comedy Zone.” The comedian will perform both nights at 7. Homayoon’s been doing improv since he was 18 and has appeared on MTV and Comedy Central and has written for Saturday Night Live’s Weekend Update. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door. Monday, November 2
Remember Bozo the Clown? If you were around between 1972 and 1979, DC’s local Bozo was Dick Dyszel, whose other alter egos include horror-movie host Count Gore De Vol and Captain 20. Every Other Day Is Halloween is a comedic documentary chronicling the life of Dyszel and all his personas. Directed by Curtis Prather (and Count Gore De Vol), the film starts at the AFI Silver Theatre at 7. Tickets are $5.

Tuesday, Nov. 3
Bobby McKey’s Dueling Piano bar has gained notoriety for its live music, right on the National Harbor. After picking up on the bar’s energy and its unique location, Def Comedy producer Bob Sumner teamed up with Joel Kelly for Laffs on the Harbor, a night that brings what they think will be the future of comedy to DC. The first Tuesday of every month, up-and-coming comedians are brought in—this Tuesday, catch Cory Fernandez and Tony Woods from 7:30 to 10:30. For more information, go here.
