It began with 64 teams, and only two remain. The big night is here: the NCAA March Madness championship. Will it be tournament mainstay Duke or the ferocious underdogs of Butler? Either way, be sure to watch the game in style—with fellow fans and food and drink specials galore. Because sadly, there’s just no way you’re winning that office bracket pool.
Social Sink into some leather couches at the Columbia Heights gathering spot Social, where you can find 25-cent wings, $1 Angus-beef sliders, $2 Saval dogs with pretzel buns, $3 chili and cheese fries, and $2 Bud Lights. This restaurant/living room features a huge TV upstairs along with residential-style seating—think couches, family dining tables, lounge chairs, and ottomans—in the bar downstairs.
Rocket Bar Duke fans, head to Rocket Bar, where a Duke alumni group will cheer on the Blue Devils on 11 TVs. Game-time specials include $3 PBR cans, $5 rail cocktails, and “Pounders”—16-ounce beers for $4.50.
BlackFinn BlackFinn is getting you amped up for game day with $5 Red Bull-and-vodkas and $3 Miller Lite drafts. Sip away while watching one of the 24 TVs.
Buffalo Billiards There are four huge high-definition projection screens at Buffalo Billiards. Take in the game with $3 Miller Lite drafts, $3.50 Sam Adams and Sam Seasonal drafts, and 25-cent wings.
Mister Days Mister Days is giving away a flat-screen TV and a trip to Puerto Rico tonight. Even if you don’t win, you can still get $3 Hefeweizen, $4 Bacardi drinks, $4 margaritas, $3.50 16-ounce Miller aluminum bottles, and food specials such as $4 quesadillas and an Angus New York strip-steak dinner for $10.95.
O’Sullivan’s Irish Pub O’Sullivan’s Irish Pub is knocking $1 off the price of all drafts until 8:30, and the Monday night special—Coors Light bottles for $2.50—is also available.
Who will you be rooting for tonight? Tell us in the comments!
Some bracket teams tend to beat the teams they’re supposed to beat, and lose to the teams they’re supposed to lose to. Other March Madness teams in 2011 might have beaten some better teams, but lost to some real stinkers. If your 2011 March Madness picks have a high consistency, they’re less likely to knock off a much better opponent, but they’re also less likely to get upset by an underdog.

You missed a good one! Surfside in Glover Park will have their roof deck open tonight. Free chips, salsa, queso, and guac during the game. $20 buckets of Starr Hill beer. Kitchen open late! Will be mostly a Duke crowd.
