For those who find themselves in the waning days of college—or if you just like to listen to a lot of Simon & Garfunkel—the AFI Silver Theatre will be devoting this weekend to special screenings of Dustin Hoffman’s 1967 classic The Graduate. Opening night is Friday, and tickets are $10.

DC band Title Tracks—fronted by local music-scene mainstay John Davis—performs at St. Stephen’s Church. The show benefits We Are Family, a local senior-outreach nonprofit. Tickets are $8, or $7 with a canned-food donation. The show begins 7:30 on Friday.

Head to Busboys and Poets for the “11th Hour Poetry Slam” on Friday night. Starting at 11 PM, the restaurant will host two hours of intense competition before the audience crowns a winner. Tickets go on sale 30 minutes before the show; $5.

The fifth anniversary of DC Yoga Week hits the National Mall on Saturday with a massive yoga session that’s free and open to all. Bring your mats and a picnic under the shadow of the Washington Monument and enjoy the live music, refreshments, and demonstrations. The event goes from 1 to 5.

Head to the National Museum of African Art on Saturday for What in the World Are They Doing on Stage? Or, How to Watch a Modern Dance. This interactive lecture/demonstration examines different styles of dance and shows you what it’s like to be up on stage. The event is free and begins at 2 PM.

Aerial acrobatics abound at the Joint Services Open House and Air Show at Andrews Air Force Base (Route 5 and Allentown Rd., Camp Springs; 301-981-4600). Watch a parachute team, helicopters, and all manner of military aircraft at this rain-or-shine event. Free; Saturday and Sunday 8 to 5.

PBS’s Jim Lehrer discusses and signs his 20th book, Super, at Politics and Prose on Sunday. Set in 1956, the book focuses on the luxurious Super Chief train, a murder, and the famous passengers on board such as Clark Gable and President Truman. The event is free and begins 5 PM.
