You should stop by the basement of Saint Ex (1847 14th Street, NW), where Gate 54 will be host to Hej Hej, a DJ night that plays exclusively Scandinavian pop and rock (you may recognize some of the DJs spinning tonight; DJs Seeking Irony and Weird Curves used to do Blue State, while DJ Kathryn Wildt is from the DJ nights My Favorite Dress and iPod Jukebox).Who might you hear on the play list? Oh, just some of my favorite bands, like the Cardigans, the Raveonettes, and loads more (those Scandinavian folks have a knack for putting out some darn good music).
